Form, light and colour lend the villa a quiet yet striking presence. Terraces, patios and floor-to-ceiling windows allow interior and exterior spaces to flow seamlessly into one another. Materials and surfaces are deliberately restrained, defined by their tactile quality – refined, natural, timeless.
The building envelope of movable corten steel louvers becomes an architectural statement, filtering light, providing shade and giving structure and depth to the design. The same material also defines the covered outdoor lounge. Inside and out, the palette draws on the characteristic tones of Sicily – reinterpreted in a contemporary way, subtly balanced and in dialogue with the surrounding landscape.
